Before you connect

A clear next step.

What does graduate membership involve?

Graduate candidates must hold at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and demonstrate community involvement and leadership. The official process includes required sponsorship, documentation, and review. The chapter can help you understand the current requirements that apply to you.

Is Sigma Omega currently conducting intake?

Contact the chapter for current opportunities and any authorized schedule. This page is an invitation to inquire; it does not announce an open intake period.

How do I return to active membership?

Reclamation and retention support brothers in returning to full participation. Tell us your initiation chapter and year, your last active chapter, and how to reach you. Our Keeper of Records & Seal, Bro. Bilal Ali, can guide the next steps with the appropriate chapter officers.

Can I transfer from another chapter?

Brothers seeking a chapter home in Chicago are welcome to connect with Sigma Omega. Share your current or most recent chapter and ask about the transfer process, financial standing, and chapter participation.

Where can I learn about costs and obligations?

Ask the chapter about current chapter, district, and international financial obligations, along with expectations for service and participation. Amounts and requirements should be confirmed directly before you proceed.

What should I include in my first message?

Tell us whether you are exploring membership, returning, or transferring, and briefly explain your interest. Existing brothers may include their initiation chapter and year. The chapter will provide guidance on any formal documentation later in the process.
